Year 8 Parents Evening

Dear Parents and Carers of Year 8

It was great to see so many of you at the Options Process information evening on 18th April, we hope that you found it helpful.

If you couldn't make it, or just need a recap, you can now find the information on our new Year 8 Options webpage, which includes an updated version of the options booklet.

We hope to see you again at the Year 8 Parents Evening which is on Tuesday 9th May, this is a face to face event in the main hall. The time of this event is 3.45pm to 6.45pm and there is no need to book in advance, just come along!

Teaching/subject staff will be available to answer specific questions about the courses your child may be interested in taking forward into Key Stage 4, as well as information about their progress.

You will also have the opportunity to see Mrs Bugdale from our Careers team and Mrs Sullivan Year 8 Leader.

In addition, staff from our Raising Acheivement team will be available until 5pm, for SEN and Nurture enquiries. If you wish to see them I would recommend emailing in advance to let us know. If you are unable to make it before 5pm you can of course request a call/meeting at a more convenient time, again please send an email request.
