With Spring in the air, the PTFA have been busy in the school Quad gardens - specifically focusing their attention on fixing up the pond, which needs re-lining. During February half term a small team of volunteers worked hard on cleaning and draining the pond and relocating it's pondlife to the Vinegar Pond at Mousheold Heath. The next stage of preparations are underway for the liner to be replaced as soon as possible, so that the pond can be refilled and new life introduced to it.
'Gardening and Wildlife Club' will resume on Mondays after Easter and we hope that students with a passion for wildlife and the outdoors will get involved as part of their enrichment choice.
We also welcome any new volunteers to the project - so if you enjoy gardening and can spare any time Spring to Autumn, we'd love to hear from you. Please drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
