Last Day of Term – Wednesday 18th December
As the end of Autumn term approaches, we wanted to let you know about the plans for the final day of term.
Firstly, on this date we will be supporting ‘Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day’ by holding a non-uniform day for students, for a donation of £1 towards the charity. Students can come dressed in the most festive attire to help raise funds and have some fun. This can be a jumper, hat, scarf, glasses, or multiple items! Save the Children are encouraging children to get crafty (and thrifty) this year by creating something truly unique from a plain old garment, some fabric pens and a whole lot of tinsel!
Secondly, we would like to invite you to our Christmas Concert. This will be taking place in our Sports Hall from 11.30am to 1pm and is for the whole academy. Students having been practicing incredibly hard for this event and it will feature a mixture of songs and carols, readings and performances. We’ve got solo’s, dance and musical pieces, including a song from our whole Year 8 group, the whole of Year 7 in their debut performance and a special message from Nick Blanch of Norwich Youth for Christ. Please RSVP to let us know you’re coming along, via the Parents ‘Upcoming Events’ here
