Pupil Premium (PP) is a grant provided to schools by the Government for groups of eligible students. Eligible students are those who have registered for Free School Meals in the last six years, those with parents currently serving in the armed forces and Looked After Children (children in care and adopted children).
The amount of PP funding awarded is based on the number of eligible students registered and is for the school to spend as they see best, to support disadvantaged children and tackle the inequalities they may face.
For full details of our PP funding allocation, including how the funds are being utilised and the impact on student attainment and academic performance, please read our Pupil Premium Strategy and Review Statement.
For the 2020-21 academic year, schools received catch-up funding due to the impact of COVID-19. For further information and a review please read our COVID Catch-Up Premium Plan.
