Year 8 Parents & Options Evening - 06/05/26

The Year 8 Parents & Options evening is on

Wednesday 6th May 2026

3.30pm-6pm in the Sports Hall.

Over the next few weeks, Year 8 students will be finding out more about the GCSE subjects available to them and what studying these at Key Stage 4 might look like. They will be hearing from teaching staff, watching short videos and will have opportunities to ask questions and find out more to help them make informed choices. There will also be an Options booklet for students and parents/carers to look through together which will be sent out next week.

On the evening itself, subject teaching staff and Heads of Department will be available to answer specific questions about the courses your child may be interested in taking forward at GCSE level, as well as information about their current progress. There will also be a presentation regarding the Options process in the Dining Hall at 4.30pm.

Following Parents Evening, the online choices form will be open for students to make their selections.
