Flu Vaccinations - Monday 23rd & Monday 30th September

Flu can be very unpleasant for children and can sometimes cause serious problems, such as pneumonia. Children can catch and spread flu easily. Vaccinating them also helps protect others who are at higher risk of getting seriously ill from flu, such as babies and older people.

The School Immunisation team will be coming into the school to deliver the vaccine to Year 7, Year 9 & Year 11 on Monday 23rd September 2024 and to Year 8 & Year 10 on Monday 30th September 2024. Please note that children cannot receive this vaccination with their GP unless they are clinically vulnerable.

Please find below links to the E-consent letter for the Flu nasal spray OR non-gelatine IM Flu vaccine and information leaflets. The portal will close 48 hours before the Flu session.
