Canteen and Free School Meals

canteen.PNG
We are partnered with leading school caterers Aspens. They offer a wide range of freshly prepared hot and cold food items, including vegetarian options. You can view a copy of the three week sample menu here

The canteen is open for breakfast club from 7.45am, offering breakfast
items. The 'Grab and Go' is open at breaktime selling a variety of hot snacks.

We operate a cashless system and students can add money to their personal account, identified by a unique pin number, using the cashless machine situated in the canteen.

There are several water filling stations around the school and students should bring in a refillable bottle to ensure they stay hydrated throughout the day. In a bid to reduce throw away plastic we are unable to provide cups.

We are currently operating a split lunchtime to facilitate all students through the canteen. For the summer term, students in KS4 are on first lunch starting at 12.50pm and KS3 students on second lunch starting at 1.10pm.
Is your child entitled to Free School Meals?

Many students already claim their free school meal entitlement and use it every day, there are also many more families that are entitled to claim but don't.

If you feel your child may be entitled to Free School Meals (FSM) visit the Norfolk County Council website, where you will find further information on eligibility and be able to make an online application.

For further details and to apply online click here or you can download an application form here

Claiming is quick and easy and could mean that your child receives over £400 per year in free lunches.
